Transport for West Midlands
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is the transport face of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). We work with all parts of the WMCA and alongside the seven Metropolitan Councils to ensure the region benefits from an effective transport system that meets the economic and environmental needs of the West Midlands. We will data analyse the results of this engagement exercise to inform the development and delivery of the Halesowen pilot and the wider West Midlands Local Travel Point programme.
Black Country Transport brings together officers from the four Black Country local authorities; Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton, with a team of central officers to provide project management of cross-boundary transport schemes.
The council is the local highway authority and is responsible for the sites being used for the pilot. Teams from across the council have been closely involved in the process so far, including colleagues from public health, transport, and housing.
Trueform are the supplier appointed to design, manufacture and install each Local Travel Point. Trueform were chosen because of their track record in the provision of user-centred and integrated transport infrastructure that transforms the travel experience in cities across the UK and globally.
